Oh the dreaded pimple! We've battled those throughout high school, prayed to the god of acne-by-gone when it came to yearbook photo day, and did that happy dance in college every time our face was clear for that big date. It doesn't matter if it's one pimple or a few, we just don't want any of them near us on the day of our wedding, especially when a professional photographer is ready to take only a few hundred pictures! So listen to the wise David Tutera to ensure that you are blemish free on your big day:
Planning a wedding can be a stressful time, and added stress can lead to unwanted blemishes! To avoid imperfect skin on your perfect day, start early and get a great regimen going before a problem arises. If a surprise pops up a day or two before your wedding, take a tried and true wive’s tale for a spin to clear up quick!
Wash your face with a good quality (but that doesn’t necessarily mean expensive) face wash in the morning before getting ready and at night before heading to bed. Never go to sleep with makeup on your face! Keeping grime and dirt off your face in the first place is the easiest way to keep pimples and blemishes at bay. Scrub well but gently to really get everything off, and consider investing in an electronic brush to help clear your pores.
